People perceive spatial information differently from visual snapshots, according to psychologists who research consumer behavior.
A picture may show off a gorgeous living space, but it doesn't address important issues:
- How far is the kitchen from the dining room?
- Would my sectional sofa fit in the living space?
- Is the primary bedroom really private, or right next to the kids’ rooms?
Floor plans provide the roadmap that bridges those gaps. They allow buyers to mentally “walk through” a home before ever stepping inside.
