What areas does Blue Dot Photos serve?

We provide nationwide real estate photography services, with a strong presence in Atlanta and other major markets across the US. If you’re looking for service in a market we don’t cover yet, reach out to us and we can explore expanding to your area. No matter where your property is located, you can count on us for consistent quality and service.

How far in advance should I schedule a shoot?

We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, though next-day appointments may be available.

Do you have Supra or electronic lockbox access?

Yes, our photographers are able to use Supra eKEY and most lockboxes with provided codes.

Can I make special requests for images?

Absolutely! Let us know ahead of time via our order form or let our photographer know onsite and we’d be happy to capture any requested angles or shots.

Can I schedule a shoot on weekends or holidays?

We’ll do our best to accommodate shoots on Saturdays and holidays. Sunday availability is limited, as our photographers are not required to work Sundays. Availability may vary by location, so please contact our team or fill out this form to request a booking.

Do you photograph in inclement weather?

Yes, we will proceed rain or shine. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, please call or email our team. A popular option is to photograph the interiors and schedule a smaller package at a later date for exterior images.

Do you charge travel fees?

You can see our service area here. Anything in our coverage area is serviced at no extra charge. If you place an order for outside of the area, it may incur a small mileage fee.

How should I prepare my property for photos?

If onsite, please turn on all lights, open blinds and ensure the space is clean. You can review our Homeowner’s Guide ahead of time.

How long does a normal photoshoot take?

It will vary depending on the package ordered and the size of the home. A 25-image package will typically be between 30-60 minutes. A 3D tour will add 25-90 minutes depending on the size of the property.

Do I need to be present at the appointment?

No! We know your time is valuable. If the property is ready, simply provide us a lockbox or smart key code and our photographer will market the property as best as possible.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations or reschedules made before 5:00 PM on the day prior to the shoot are free of charge. Cancellations made after 5:00 PM the day prior will incur a $30 cancellation fee.

Can I order exteriors now and interiors later?

Yes, we can do an exterior-only shoot and follow up with an interior-only order whenever the home is ready.

How quickly will I receive my real estate photos?

Blue Dot Photos prides itself on fast delivery times. You can expect professionally edited photos within 1 to 2 business days, depending on the scope of the project. We understand that time is critical in real estate marketing. Let us know if you need express delivery and we can prioritize your project for delivery by 12 PM the next day.

Can you photoshop out items or make edits?

We offer basic edits for lighting and other corrections and enhancements. Object removal or advanced edits are available upon request and may include additional fees. For more comprehensive solutions, we also provide walkthrough decluttering and virtual staging services to help present your property at its best.

What is HDR real estate photography, and why is it important?

HDR (High Dynamic Range) real estate photography combines multiple exposures to create images with perfect lighting and detail. This technique ensures that both interior and exterior features are beautifully balanced, making your property stand out in online listings and marketing materials.

Do you provide virtual staging or editing services?

Yes, we offer virtual staging and advanced editing services to enhance your real estate photos. From adding furniture to improving lighting and color, our post-processing techniques ensure your listings look their best.

Do you offer video walkthroughs?

Yes, we offer video walkthroughs produced from our InsideMaps 3D Walkthroughs as part of our 3D Capture add-on. These videos are downloadable or can be viewed directly in the 3D Walkthrough links.
